Obviously, the otherwise sympathetic Ioannina players, being in a state of confusion, must first of all realize that yesterday’s result for AEL was fair but not pleasant.
Starting from the competitive events, we will comment that if the team from Larissa did not have the well-known significant absences of its key players due to injuries and if the round view was a little more favorable with them in the multiple final attempts against the opponent, then obviously the team from Ioannina in our headquarters would not have better luck than that of the historical Heraklis in the 4th matchday of the first round!
In simple words, although yesterday and due to absences, AEL did not manage to reach a high level of performance, it was clearly better than its opponent.
Regarding the criticism of our opponents about the arbitration of Mr. Kefala and his partners, we would like to remind the sports fans that AEL, although yesterday finished first and undefeated at the end of the first round of this year’s SL2 championship with a difference of six (6) points from the second PAS Ioannina, in the only matches they have loss of points (Niki Volou & PAS Ioannina) is after arbitration conducted by Mr. head
We wonder: Where exactly is the refereeing favor in favor of AEL when you lose in your first round harvest four (4) points in two games that you initially lead, with the same referee?
How do you blame a referee who, with his decisions in the first match between us, rightly allowed Niki Volos to overturn the 2-0 in principle against them in the final 3-3?
How do you also blame a referee when yesterday he almost evenly called about (25) fouls, a number that is only recorded in statistics in Super League matches?
If PAS Ioannina’s protest is about the cards given against their players and absolutely fair in our opinion, let’s just remember that these were given after 82/a fact that challenges their miserable argument of a refereeing attempt to alter the result.
The only attempt to change was made competitively by the opposing team with the continuous delays of their footballers in a derby televised all over Greece.
AEL could refer and protest that Mr. Kefalas yesterday was initially more lenient in the hard fouls of PAS that only resembled martial arts on the field, as well as in the fact that after the injury of the goalkeeper of AEL Perdreou there were delays of 7/while the stoppage of the match only on this occasion was for about 12 /!
Nevertheless, we must state that the referee Mr. Kefalas in the two games drawn for our team to date has tried his best and we recognize him, as we have stated in the past, that referees are above all human and are only judged unfavorably when their decisions clash with persuasive teams and deprive them of points or championships!
And since AEL has lived in its skin for the past two years what a shack means in EPO and knows as few as possible the concept of dietary crime, let the well-known “rebels without a cause” of this year’s SL2 let the young people of EPO and KED do right their work, as so far they only receive credit.
It is evident that in the historical PAS Ioannina enjoying the safety of the great professional category of Greek football in the previous years, they have probably forgotten the multiple crimes that have been committed in the past in our unfortunate category.
Because Greece is ultimately very small and when the president of the neighboring EPS, who is friendly in Ioannina, tries furiously all the previous week to influence incompetent referees, AEL does not complain, it simply watches the phenomenon and the audacity of the Ioannina farce, which probably has no limits !
Because we learn from current PAS Ioannina footballers who happened to pass through the ranks of AEL in the past, that they still talk to their former teammates and report to them the difficulties and financial weaknesses of the Ioannina team, we realize with regret that often the financial hardship brings grumbling.
Our only advice to the Ioannina team is to follow the example of the current administration of AEL, which is firmly governed by football autonomy and local financial independence.
Because, when you become a beggar in data you don’t have, sometimes to the north and sometimes to the south, on the one hand you trivialize your value and on the other hand sooner or later this fact ceases to be a secret.
And since they don’t look for a rope in the house of the hanged man, the only common secret among the fans is that AEL can be the protagonist in the championship of the northern group of SL2 which has not yet been decided, but it is certain that it has already been crowned champion of fair play with a historical precedent for the rest!
Because quite simply this has been the case since 1964.
