PAS Giannina: “Whoever has the fly gets bitten – Moral lessons from nobody…”

by

The dialogue between… continues AEL and PAS Ioannina through announcements on the occasion of each other games for the 9th matchday of its northern group Super League 2which ended in a 1-1 draw.

This time the PAS Ioannina wanted to respond to what the managers reported yesterday AEL in their announcement. Among other things, the Epirus team emphasizes that the football player who is “photographed” by the maroons is expected to sue for defamation.

The announcement in detail:

PAE PAS Ioannina 1966 cannot and should not deal with other teams’ announcements, but when it sees the truth being distorted in them, it is forced to comment on them.

So the nice and historic AEL issued today a lengthy announcement, which however diminishes both the history of the team and the city it represents, as well as any of its competitive dynamics. An announcement that creates more questions in the sports fan world than mentions anything of substance, an announcement out of place and reality with an unprecedented attack on PAS Ioannina, when at the same time PAS Ioannina with his own announcement only did was to comment on some at his discretion unfounded arbitration decisions.

It is a shame for the nice and historical AEL to deal with the internal affairs of a team and its players, affecting personalities and perceptions. However, the footballer of our team who is named indirectly but not clearly for having allegedly conveyed to AEL footballers a dispute about the bad state of our team, reserves the right, as he informed us, to take legal action against the decision-makers of PAE AEL for defamation.

However, for what we read in AEL’s announcement, in addition to what was related to the competitive events, about which we certainly disagree, what remains to be said is that “whoever has the fly gets bitten”. And because proverbs often take on a didactic character, it might also teach you something about what the poet means.

PS When you talk to us about dignity and ethics you must first have earned it for yourselves and your team. Moral lessons from nobody…
