KAE Olympiacos: We want to believe that the decision on Giannakopoulos will not be taken as encouragement for vulgar statements

OR acquittal of Dimitris Giannakopoulos by the Single Member Court of First Instance of Athens in the complaints that had been made against him by George and Panagiotis Angelopouloscaused her displeasure KAE Olympiacos. In her statement she speaks of “vulgar statements” by the owner of KAE Panathinaikos and adds “… we want to believe that this decision will not be taken as an encouragement for the repetition of similar statements by sports actors».

In today’s session (in which KAE Olympiacos did not take part), the 2nd Single-member Court of First Instance of Athens ruled that the obscene statements of D. Giannakopoulou, with which he publicly attacked (via Instagram) against our team, referees – members of the O.D.K.E., the Greek Government, the Prime Minister, the President of the E.O.K., as well as the former Deputy Minister of Sports, they do not constitute an incitement to an act of violence!

We want to believe that this decision will not be taken as an encouragement for the repetition of similar statements by sports actors.

KAE Olympiacos does not lose its trust in Greek justice and will continue to fight violence and those who serve it.
