A1 Women: MVP Shepard, MVP Next Gen Sakellariou and Beneki

For the third time, Jessica Sheppard (Athenian Qualco) is named MVP in the A1 Women’s championship, this time for the 8th matchday, while the MVP Next Gen title has double representation with Olympia Sakellariou (Proteas Voulas) and Chrysanthi Beneki (Esperides Kallithea) to be the athletes who stood out.

Jessica Sheppard, after missing a few days from the obligations of Qualco of Athens, came back strongly and in her team’s 85-61 victory over MGS Panseraikos, she had 32 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, one steal, having 43 in the evaluation system after 24’54” minutes of participation.

As for the Next Gen MVPs, Chrysanthi Beneki may have missed the Esperides’ 71-63 loss to Panathinaikos, but she had 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 12 in the evaluation system in 30’15” minutes of participation.

Olympia Sakellariou, on the other hand, had 13 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 12 in the evaluation system after 34’27” minutes of participation in Protea Voula’s 72-57 victory over Amydas.

It should be noted that Jessica Sheppard was named MVP in the 2nd and 4th Games, while Olympia Sakellariou was named MVP Next Gen in the 5th Game.
