He smiled again after 37 days Rome!
On Saturday night (07/12), the Giallorossi ended their four-match losing streak in Italy, returning to winning ways in the most emphatic way as they prevailed score 4-1 Lecce at “Olimpico” for the 15th matchday of Serie A!
The game started perfectly for the hosts who opened the scoring in just the 13th minute with a great place from Salemachers, after El Saraoui’s magical vertical pass. Just before half-time, Lecce equalized from the penalty spot through Krstovic, to follow the Romans’ second 45-minute burst.
There, Claudio Ranieri’s team got the upper hand again with his header Mancini from El Saraoui’s second assist in the 59th minute, to be followed by those of Pisili (66th minute) and Kone (86th minute) for the final score!
This was also Roma’s first win since the Italian coach took over, with the Giallorossi going up at 16 degrees and 11th place in the standings, at -11 from the top six and places leading in Europe.
