Two changes in 1st place in the Greek rating tables for December

Two changes at the top were reserved for the December rating tables, announced by the Hellenic Table Tennis Federation. One in the large category and one in very small. In the men’s ranking … Konstantinos Konstantinopoulos and Yiannis Sgouropoulos changed positions once again in 2024. Konstantinopoulos now moved from 2nd place to 1st. Anastasia Michalaru is now 1st in the ranking of women’s girls. The athlete of Progress Rafina, who will continue in the new year in the same category, was two places higher, on the contrary, Aphrodite Sarikakis lost two places and fell to 3rd.

For the current month, the results from the interclub championships and from the development tournament of Patras were calculated. Some more changes were recorded in the top 5, with Dimitris Sotiropoulos moving up two places in both the teenagers and the young men. Dimitris-Marios Alexandridis (Telamon Salamina) in the pampaids and Christos Tsakalides (ASEA Kavala) in the mini pampaids came out of the top 5. They both went to number 6 from 5 last month.

Of course, notable differences were recorded in the first 15 places of the tables. Initially in the younger ages, where Marios Theodosiou from AS To Gymnasio, who has not yet turned 10 years old, rose to number 12 (out of 18) in the mini-papaides and Maria Psarrou from Poseidona Loutrakiou, who was also born in 2015 moved to number 10 (of 21) on the mini-girls charts.

Among the New Women, Elisavet Hatzikyrka (Phoenicia Agia Sophia Piraeus) was in No 13 (out of 16), Stella Mavromataki (OA Chania) in 14 (out of 18) and Fotini Dimitriadis (ASEA Kavala) in 15 (out of 20). Among the men, Gerasimos Hatzilygeroudis (AO Tataula) appears at No. 9 (out of 14).

Among the girls, Anastasia Michalaru entered the top 10 (No. 10 out of 12) and Aphrodite Maroulis (Tataula) in the 15th (No. 15 out of 17). Dionysis Timamopoulos of ASEA Kavala (at No. 9 out of 11) had a similar improvement among the teenagers, among the young men Kostas Fakaros of Finikas Agia Sophia Piraeus (at No. 15 out of 17) and among the pangorasides Antonia Ganta of Thermaios Thermis (at No. 15 from 17).

Finally, among the boys, Panagiotis Skoundzos and Mark Stafford-Schwikert of Diogeni Patras (went to No. 6 and No. 15 respectively), the brothers Spyros and Anastasios Fousekis of Poseidon Loutraki (to No. 7 and No. No. 12 respectively) and Theofanis Markoulakis of Ikaros Kastritsiou (at No. 9).
