“Today (14/3) the General Assembly of ESAKE met extraordinarily for the first time after 30 years of the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Basketball Federation, Mr. Evangelos Lioliou, in confirmation of the spirit of cooperation and unity for the good of Greek basketball.
At the meeting, the body approved the amendments to the Regulation of article 105 par. 4 L 2725/1999 (Regulation of terms and conditions – criteria for participation in the Championship of the A1 National Men’s Basketball Division) in order to make improvements in the operation of the Pre-Licensing Committee and address problems identified in the first year of implementation of the new law.
During the meeting, views and proposals were exchanged with the President of the EEC with a common recommendation for the upgrading of professional basketball.
