In a game disturbed by the soggy lawn for most of the 90 minutes, Santos and Atlético drew 0-0 this Saturday (13), in Goiânia, for the Campeonato Brasileiro.
The result was good for Santos, who started to make it a priority to remain in Serie A. They maintain the positive sequence that now reaches a sequence of three wins, one draw and one defeat in the last five matches. And next Wednesday (17), the team will receive the Chapecoense torch, in Vila Belmiro.
Depending on the combination of results, Santos may even end the round within the classification zone for the Copa Sudamericana.

The field conditions especially harmed Santos in the initial stage. Atlético-GO fought more and adapted better to the conditions. He had a certain command of actions, but without creating much. The best chance of the initial stage, in fact, came from Santos. Carille tried to change the attack to give the team more firepower. He put Raniel, a player capable of acting more attached to the area. Then he tried Camacho and Carlos Sánchez to give control to the midfield. But who had the greatest volume of game and could have won was Atlético-GO.
The hosts had three good chances to define the confrontation. In the best of them, at 13, André Luís hit a shot from inside the area and Kaiky saved on top of the line.
