Alho: “I hope we qualify for a European competition with Asteras”

At Arcadia Sports spoke o Nikolai Alho and referred to Asteras AKTOR. The Finnish right-back expressed his desire to qualify for some European competition with the Arcades, while also referring to the team’s progress in the Cup.

How do you see the team? What is the image you have formed so far?

We have a very good team with good players. We had a challenging start from various things that happened, but I think we are at a good level now and we have to continue like that. The last two games have been very important for us and winning them means a lot for the whole club.

The strongest point you have as a team but also the one you need to improve?

I believe we must continue to work hard and play as a team and not as individuals. When we do that, we play really well. I also believe we can score more goals and I’m sure with the quality we have in the squad, that will happen.

Best moment in the team for you?

There have been a lot of good moments for me so far – every win is a big moment. I can’t wait to see what the next big moment will be with the new year.

The most moment in the team that meant a lot to you?

Yes, after a difficult season, the win against Aris means a lot and I am very happy for the team and for each individual player. We worked hard and stuck together. This win means a lot.

Do you think the team can achieve the goal of being in the final of the Cup and also in the top 8?

The answer is simple: Yes, I absolutely believe so.

A wish for the new season?

As I said earlier, this season of course I want us to qualify for a European competition. That’s the goal. I wish everyone a merry and healthy Christmas.
