Among other things, the following are provided for:
– Financial reward and the right to be appointed to the State – as “extremely distinguished” – also for the athletes who took 4th to 6th place in the Olympic Games (besides the medalists, which is valid until today), starting from the OA “Paris 2024 ».
– Recognition of professional rights also for “UEFA C” qualified Football Coaches.
– Restoration of the right to exercise the profession for all Coaches, not high school graduates, who had diplomas until 2021 and were practicing the profession. This is how the issue that arose with Law 4809/21 and the obligation to hold a high school diploma is settled for hundreds of Coaches.
– Possibility, for the associations based on islands with a population of less than 3,100 inhabitants, to employ as a coach the physical education teacher, who serves, as a permanent or substitute, in a school unit located on the island, following a private project license that will be granted to him by the relevant service council.
– Simulation, temporary and transitional for a 3-year period, of the shooting and archery Instructors with the Coaches of these sports.
– Extension to two years (instead of the current one year) for the mandatory deletion of an amateur club from its Federation, if it does not update its registration in “e-kouros”.
– Establishment of a 12-member Standing Committee for Safety and Welfare in Sports (SSCW), with representatives from the Ministries of Education, Religion and Sports, Health, Justice, Social Cohesion and Family and from the EOE, as well as the establishment of an Athlete Safety and Welfare Officer in each sports Federation (with mandatory recruitment of Psychologists or Social Workers Operators, after their certification by DEAEA).
– Shielding the procedures for issuing the Athlete Health Card and converting it into a Digital one through “e-Kouros”.
– Mandatory existence of an Automatic External Defibrillator in all facilities where sports meetings are held. The existence of a defibrillator, by law for the first time, is a basic condition directly linked to the licensed operation of the facility.
– Digitization of the Table of Distinguished Athletes (points, privileges), kept at the Ministry of Sports, through “e-Kouros”.
– Improvement of the regulatory framework, for the control and observance of the condition of accessibility to sports facilities for people with mobility problems, by providing the possibility of issuing a certificate regarding the autonomous access, stay and departure of people with mobility problems and a registered Building Inspector in the Register of Building Inspectors, in addition to the competent Town Planning department.
– Designation of a competent for sports Deputy Prosecutor of Appeals in Athens, Piraeus and Thessaloniki, in addition to the existing Criminal Prosecutors.
– Obligation of the Prosecutor of First Instance to announce to the National Platform of Sports Integrity (EPATHLA) and the relevant sports Federation any criminal prosecution brought about bribery and bribery to alter the result of a match.
– Immediate notification of EPATHLA by sports betting providers in cases where they impose betting barriers or withdraw matches or activate accounts characterized as suspicious.
– Acknowledgment of the right of the PAE and KAE to receive the identity information of any fan of their offender, from his identification through the recording material of the cameras in the stadiums, which operate under the responsibility of the Police Authority, in order to take action to prohibit the granting of tickets.
– Institutional upgrading and modernization, for the first time, of the framework for the selection and appointment of the Observers of the Permanent Committee for Combating Violence (CPV). They will be defined with qualitative measurable criteria, with the simultaneous creation of an electronic register.
