His stay Lonnie Walker in Zalgiris until the end of the season is… up in the air, as the American guard has an NBA-out clause in his contract until January and five teams from the world’s top league are considering his case.
The player’s manager, George Langbergemphasized that his client is committed to the Kaunas team, but underlined that he is also considering his options.
“The statement is not indicative of Lonnie’s perspective or my perspective on his potential return to the NBA. Loni is focused on his season with Zalgiris. I will continue to evaluate all options, but nothing has been decided at this time“, he said.
It is reminded that Zalgiris hosts on Thursday Olympic for the 19th matchday of the Euroleague. The 26-year-old ace is averaging 14.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 11.4 rating in 22:39 in the tournament, where he makes 11 appearances.
