The Egyptian star’s contract with the “reds” ends in the summer and for the time being no agreement has been reached for his renewal, with Pharaoh referring again to the lack of progress in the discussions.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the leader of the “reds” was asked about whether she will be the his final year to the group and answered that “so far, yes. Last six months, no progress.
We are far from any progress in the talks, so we have to wait and see.”
Salah counts this year 20 goals and 17 assists in 26 appearances in all competitions with Arne Slott’s armada, with fans of the Premier League leaders hoping that the golden ratio will be found and the 32-year-old striker will continue to wear the red next year.
