Second victory for the National Men’s Handball Team

Second victory for the men’s national handball team over Montenegro. The representative group prevailed 37-27 over their opponents in the closed game of the CHANTH and made it “2 on 2” in the friendly matches between them in view of their best preparation for the EURO 2026 qualifiers, successfully completing the camp in the co-capital.

The Greek team did not leave any room for the Montenegrins and imposed their pace from the beginning of the match.

For another match, Giorgos Zaravinas tried different formations and new faces.

The next national team camp will take place next March.

After the end of the match, Giorgos Zaravinas emphasized that: “It is pleasant because the organization of the National team can be optimistic that there are persons who can help, but this must be done with work from the children themselves. There are athletes who can help us in the near future. We should understand that the matches against Iceland will be completely different, we will try to take from the matches what we deserve, while the matches in May should be seen as finals”.
