Defeated the fighting Panionios with an upset and Olympiacos remained at the top

He struggled a lot against Panioniobut finally left Nea Smyrni victorious for its 15th matchday Women’s Volleyball League the Olympic!

Although they were caught by surprise and lost the first set to the hosts, the “red and white” fought back and finally celebrated the victory with 3-1 (25-22, 19-25, 12-25, 24-26)remaining at the top of the scoreboard and at +2 from the second PAOK.

Panionios came into the game very strongly, taking a 6-1 lead and although the visitors fought back, leveling at 14-14 and 19-19, they were never able to get ahead, losing the first set with 25-22.

In the second set, Olympiacos fought back, escaping 14-8, with Panionios coming back to level the score at 16-16, but with the visitors finally reaching the 25-19while absolutely dominating the third set (25-12), made the coup.

The hosts were also competitive in the fourth set, chasing the equalizer until the end, but Olympiacos did not lose their cool, eventually reaching the 26-24 and in victory with 3-1!
