APOEL broke out with 7 points against Omonia Aradippou – First goal in Cyprus for Galanopoulos!

One week after the defeat by AEK Larnaca, Manolo Jimenez’s team prevailed with score 7-0 of Omonia Aradippou in the GSP for the 20th matchday of the Cypriot championship, remaining in 5th place in the scoreboard and 35 points, at -14 from the leader, Paphos.

The hosts were stormy from the very first half, which they finished with three goals thanks to an own goal by Sintonio (17′) and goals by Maioli (25′) and Susic (36′). In the replay, Dražić made it 4-0 in the 49th minute from the penalty spot, with Doni and Pizzi making it 6-0. The “icing” on the cake was put by Konstantinos Galanopoulos in 88′, with her former player AEK to score for the first time with APOEL’s jersey.

In the remaining games of the day, the pioneer Paphos passed the home of Karmiotissa with a score of 2-0, striking in the second half with Tzatza and Silva in the 60′ and 74′ respectively, while a great victory was also won by Aris Limassol against Ethniki Achnas with an impressive 6-1.
