A journey of three and a half years is over. Aris announced the end of his collaboration with Yannis Kastritis with a relevant announcement. In it, she thanks him for his contribution and wishes him the best in the continuation of his career.
Regarding his replacement, the first information has already been released. They want Nikos Vetoula to be – at this moment – the dominant one. The 50-year-old technician has worked again at Aris, at the beginning of his coaching career, but from the position of assistant. This year he started as the coach of Amarousiou, from which he left after a few months.

“ARIS Midea KAE announces the end of its collaboration with Yiannis Kastritis.
The 43-year-old coach offered his services to ARIS Midea for 3.5 consecutive seasons and his offer is really very big. In the first two years with the smallest budgets in the category, the team made very good progress, while last year it returned to the top four of the league and in its return to the BKT EuroCup, it not only stood decently against important European powers, but also qualified for the second phase .
In a meeting held today (27/01) at the KAE offices, it was decided to end the collaboration with the Tripolitsi coach. We thank Yannis Kastritis from the bottom of our hearts for what he offered and will forever be a part of ARIS Midea’s history. We wish him all the best for the rest of his career.”
