France’s ping ping pong championships from Tuesday to the fifth national category are worthy of being caused because they gather most of the Greeks “hosts” each year. In 2025, the four -legged European champion Yiannis Sgouropoulos (in National 1 in particular), made his first appearance in the country, in yet another collaboration with a European club.
Also in the first section of the new phase have participated in our other 11 champions, Konstantinos Konstantinopoulos, Tasos Riniotis, Konstantina Paridis, Giorgos Konstantinopoulos, Katerina Toliou, Alexandros Madessi, Elizabeth Terou Kazakou, while there are many others who have not fought in the new year. These championships want five races even ending on 17/05/25.
In men and National 1 (3rd category) is Boulon Bilancourt, who has Yiannis Sgouropoulos in her potential. It is located in the first of the two groups of Level A. The French have also created 1b level with two groups. In the opening match on 18/01, Boulon lost 8-5 away to Bernei. The Greek Men’s champion has individually scored 2 wins and 1 defeat (had a positive effect on the double).
The match of the second match with Metz 1 has been transferred to another date.
In the National 1 and the same group is Roman ASPTT 1 by Konstantinos Konstantinopoulos. In the first games, he lost 8-2 sets to Charleville at home and 8-5 from Levalua outside, with today’s “silver” Balkan in double and team to have 1 win, 1 defeat and 3 wins respectively in simple.
In National 1 and the first group of 1B is proceeded by Giorgos Constantinopoulos’s Havre 2 after promoting the first phase of National 2. Roman. The leader of the national team prevailed in three solo matches in the match against Verne and was absent last Saturday.
In National 2 (4th category), Tasos Rhiniotis’ table tennis 45 went to the second phase in the fourth of the eight groups. At the start, he was beaten 8-6 sets from Posrene and last Saturday with the same score as a Ferreer host. The experienced international took part in both races and in the simple one he had three wins.
In the same category and the same group is Strato Damian Denis 2 of Stratos Damian. In the first match, he lost 8-2 sets from Seson as a guest and in the second he was imposed with Stand Montoua 8-1 sets as a home side. The Greek young men’s champion in 2020 participated in both games and scored two wins in the premiere and two more in the next meeting.
Also in National 2 is La Trones Meila of Stathis Manolopoulos. For the seventh group he started with two wins against Ponto Komppo with 8-6 sets and La Garde with 8-3. Our 20-year-old defender, who in his first year abroad has mainly helped the second team of the club in Pre-National, has again received an opportunity to participate in the fourth national category on February 1st against La Garde, made three individual wins in a match.
The same group features Antibi Juan Le Pins 1, in the eighth and the last of the category is Antibi Juan Le Pins 2, the club with whom Dimitris Kordoutis has been working with for years, but this year with a very little participation. After November, our international athlete has never been to France in France.
In National 3 and the eighth group was found with Amikal Painter Quistrem 1 by Alexander Madessi. On 18/01, he had won 8-2 set Zue Le Tours, on 01/02 8-1 Bruew 2 and the Greek champion of simple teenagers and simple young men had two wins. Recall that in the first part of the season he had also reinforced the second team of the club in the fifth division.
In National 3 and the first group continues by Yiannis Papadakis. He started with two wins, but the former international at an early age was not present and he has generally played since last November.
Let us add that from National 3 fell for the second phase in Pre-National due to the low position it had taken in the groups until December, Ermon Plesi 1 by Yiannis Boskovic. A victory and one defeat is in the beginning, but the former Greek second champion of the mere teenagers has only worn their jersey in a match last December.
In the women and the National 1 (third category), Ren Paul Ber, who has Elizabeth Terpou and Katerina Toliou in her roster, competes in the first group of the second phase. After the second place in the original group, it is equally positive to the new stage and in the first games prevailed with Aneci with 8-5 sets (home) and Nim/Arle 2 to 8-1 (outside).
Toliu was present by Greek women athletes and had two wins and one defeat on 18/01 and two more wins on 01/02. Terpou reinforced Ren Paul Ber 2 on Saturday in National 3 because the team gave a derby and aims to rise. For the second match in the second group he won three wins in an equal number of matches, but Ren Paul Ber was bent with a 8-5 set off from Sqy Ping 1. After the season, our international will reappear in National 1.
National 2 was retired by Burguan Jelio of Constantine Paridis because he had finished seventh in the first phase group in the above category. He competes in the second of the three groups and in the first games he has defeated 8-1 set by Fontinei 2 (away) and a 8-5 win over Le M Man Satr 3 (inside). Today’s Greek champion participated in the winning match of the previous Saturday and prevailed in her three individual games.
In the same category, the same group was the Rabuigue of Daniela Grammatopoulou-Chrysopoulou. She began her attempt with two defeats: first by Miluz as a 8-5 set guest and then at her “home” by Fodentine 2 to 8-6. Our former international at an early age was present in both matches, but did not achieve any positive result.
Finally, the National 3 (Fifth Category) was promoted by the Havre/Montvilier 1 of Zoe Kazakos after its dominance until December in a Pre-National group. In the new phase it is in the third of the four groups. In January, it began with a 8-4 set of home against Neville Ferre and on February 1, a 8-6 set of Saint More was beaten. The International Youth from Chania was in the composition of the first race and in its debut in the league achieved two wins in the simple and one in the double.
