The message of Olympic Veterans Basketball Players for the 100th Birthday of the Association

Today, March 10, 2025, Olympiacos complements us 100 years of life and success. It took 100 years since March 10, 1925, when few ideological citizens of Piraeus decided to establish a club, the Olympic Association of Piraeus Footballs (OSFP). Where would they go through their minds that this club would become the pride of Greece, with the most wins in various sports, across the European continent and probably across the world.

Red, which symbolizes the passion for victory, but also white, which symbolizes purity and noble competition, were then chosen as the colors of our Olympian, an idea, according to testimonies of those historical days, by Yiannis Andrianopoulos.

We veteran basketball players of Olympiacos honored the red -white jersey, each in their time. That is why today, at these 100th birthday of our legend, we feel proud, because we were players of this historic club and because we put a stone in the giggling of our Olympics, pouring our sweat, putting our ego under the team.

And we think all the athletes who honored the “laurel teenager” in all sports together, but also one by one … we did it … and even above! That is, to become our Olympian the leading – Makrans – club of our Greece.
