In detail what the new president of Stoiximan GBL said:
“I want to thank the GBL team from the heart for the honor they made to me. To thank Vangelis Galatsopoulos for his years of contribution to the link.
I understand the responsibility that comes with the position and we will work hard to respond to the confidence of the teams.
The truth is that in recent years GBL has taken steps forward. We will try to further upgrade Greek basketball, both on a racing and commercial level, and to create the conditions for the world’s greater turnout on our stadiums.
Finally, I think we need to make serious changes, structurally, to the statute of the Association, which is 35 years old if I am not mistaken, in order to establish a more modern model of administration, analogous to other European liga. We could say more, but we will do it when they are the decisions of the Board of Directors.
