From the largest city in the Peloponnese, Patras, with a tradition of cycling, will begin this year’s PPC Tour of Hellas.
Following the presentation of the teams, on Tuesday, April 1, it is given the start of the 4th edition of the top sporting event in Greece.
From the University of Patras (13:00) the 1st Subsidiary will be resulted in, 140.39 km of the smallest of 5 sides, and with altitudes reaching 1243 m.
The procession groups with a procession will reach the Rio – Antirrio Bridge, where the plans that travel around the world will be spectacular, will start outside Antirrio, on the old Antirrio – Ioannina highway.
The cyclists will move from the prefecture of Achaia to the prefecture of Aitoloakarnania, with the Gulf of Pathraikos offering spectacular views to access to Central Greece.
The athletes will pass through the historical and martyred Messolonghi, with the 1st sprinting of the line at the statue of Lord Byron and then heading to the Aitolian National Park Bridge, to Astakos, where the 2nd sprinting will take place.
Then the left and passing through the village of Karaiskakis with the north march, will reach the plants, at 113.13 km, which will take place the only climbing sprint of the 1st grade.
With a right -wing movement and entrance to the old highway, the cyclists will pass through the village of Stratos, which is located the famous riverside lake of the Acheloos River and end in Agrinio. The 1st terminal will take place on Harilaou Trikoupi Street in Agrinio, the largest population of Aitoloakarnania.

Store at the University of Patras, with a procession on the Rio – Antirrio Bridge and starting outside Antirrio (old Antirrio – Ioannina Highway).
Route: Patras – Mesolongi (Garden of Heroes) – 1st Sprint Lord in Lord Byron Statue – Aitoliko – Neochori – Occupation – Lesini – Astakos (2nd Sprin Eunis) – Karaiskakis – Vassilopoulos Km. 309 m.
