In Loutraki, more than 450 athletes and athletes offered a rich spectacle to the Taekwondo -Korason Open Championships and showed that the future of the sport in Greece is auspicious.

The Hellenic Federation of Taekwondo honored the Mayor of Loutraki – Perachora and Saint Theodore, George Gionis, and the Deputy Mayor of Social Policy and Sports, Thanassis Papathanasiou, for the valuable cooperation.
The award was made by ELOT President Christos Manolis, and Olympic and Secretary General Michalis Mouroutsos, respectively.
The matches were held with the utmost support of the Municipality and the Mayor of Loutraki-Perachora and Agioi Theodoroi, George Gionis, handed over a plaque to the “golden” Olympic champion of 2000.
Also, the Deputy Mayor of Social Policy and Sports, Thanassis Papathanasiou, handed over an honorary plaque to the President of ELOT, Christos Manolis.
The Deputy Mayor AA Administrative and Financial Services, Anastasios Sakellariou, honored the former “Silver” Olympian and First Vice -President of ELOT, Elizabeth Mystakidou.
Also, the Deputy Mayor of Cleanliness and the Environment, Thanassis Mouzakis, and Deputy Mayor of Culture, Lifelong Learning & Youth Education, Theoni Mavromatidou – Papailia, handed over a plaque to the former “golden” world champion and Vice President.
