Scary incident was noted outside the Rcde stadiumjust before the start of the derby between Espanyol and Barcelona. A car dragged a group of Espanyol fans Waiting for the team’s bus arrival, about one and a half hours before the cross!
The vehicle, for reasons still being investigated, moved to the world and hit over 10 fans, causing panic and confusion scenes. Many were injured and needed immediate intervention by first aid services. Immediate ambulances and police forces rushed to the spot.
According to first information from Mundo Deportivo, the driver of the vehicle wanted to get away from the mob, taking through the world. As confirmed by the police and Espanyol, there are thirteen injured, fortunately everyone with slight injuries.
Authorities insist that there is no indication that this is a deliberate action and therefore did not postpone the race.
