Two Greek “Towers” from San Francisco

Two talents, apart from the borders, was identified by the Hellenic Basketball Federation, who is looking for children with “blue -white” roots. In this light he identified two “towers” based in San Francisco. The reason for Alexander and Nikola Glaros Stavropoulos.

The EEC update

The attempt not to lose any talent has led the EEC and outside the border. He is looking for children with Greek roots and love for the country and basketball and in this course he met with two Greek towers living in the United States of America.

Children are of Greek descent, since their father Christopher was born and raised in Kozani. He made a long journey to the US and on the west coast of the country, built his life in San Francisco, where his children were born and raised. Alexander was born in 2007, is 2.11 height and has the right to compete in the National Teens.

Nicholas was born two years later (2009) is 2.13 and can compete in the National Children’s. The two attend St Francis High School, where they play basketball.

Alexander, Nicholas and their father Christopher also showed their interest in the national team when they visited the EEC offices.

There they were welcomed by the National Team Officer, Municipality of Dikoudis. There was a good climate discussion, and the whole family did not fail to take pictures with the 1987 and 2005 Eurobasket trophies.
