Greece bent over Tai Breik against Hungary

In one of the most spectacular and ambiguous games of the event, the National Women’s Volleyball Team was defeated with 3-2 sets from Hungaryin the context of the second week of Golden European League, in Blaz, Romania.

The Greek team, under the technical guidance of Apostolou Economouhe showed militancy, stubbornness and quality, but failed to complete the overthrow in a match that was judged in the details.

The game started with the Hungarian to get the first set (23-25)But Greece’s response was impressive, with the emphatic 25-10 in the second. In spite of the dynamic start in the third set, National succumbed to the details again (23-25)but he equalized in the fourth (25-18), sending the match to Tai Break.

There, the “blue whites” led 8-5 to the change of stadiums, but Hungary equalized and eventually prevailed with 16-18taking advantage of critical mistakes in the reception.

Despite the defeat, the Greek team has shown that it has the potential to compete with equal powerful opponents, sending positive messages to the continuation. Next opponent is Romania organizeron Sunday, June 8 at 4:30 pm, in yet another difficult but crucial race for the event in the event.

The sets: 2-3 (23-25, 25-10, 23-25, 25-28, 16-18).
