“The administration of AO Thira is pleased to announce its launch of its cooperation with Anastasia Sirinina for the 2025-2026 season in the Volley League. Born on 25/10/1995 in Saratov, Russia, but raised from 3 years in Kalamata, the 29 -year -old Greek Central (1.87m) is expected with her experience with domestic and international challenge Cups to help with the achievement of this year’s goals in Greece.
Sirinina, after her work with ballet, gymnastics, dance and swimming took her first steps in volleyball in 2010, as a Messinian GS athlete. After four seasons in the Kalamata team, in 2015 he took with AO Markopoulos’ team ‘Baptism of Fire’ in the Volley League, having our own Libero teammate Evangelia Toulgaridou.
He has also competed in Panionios (2016-2017), Asp Thetis Voula (2017-2024), AEne Amazons (2024-2025) and Panathinaikos (2024-2025). During the last season 2024-2025 he was a Super Cup finalist, while he used to be a Kyana MVP of the ninth Volley League of Women’s 2023-2024.
But apart from her successes to the lounge, Sirinina also excels in the sand, with the top success of the recent conquest of her ‘virgin’ title in Masters tournament, winning the gold medal at the Thessaloniki Grand Slam 2025.
A graduate of the Department of Russian Literature at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, our new acquisition, after finalizing the agreement with AO.
