The start of the… new era, through the move to the Pancreatic Stadium, was formalized by the announcement today (05/07).
With the Cretan PAE at the same time thanking the Municipality of Heraklion and the development of sports for support throughout the process.
In detail the relevant announcement:
“Following the approval of the contract, between the Municipality of Heraklion and PAO OFI 1925, from the development of Sports of Heraklion, a new day is dawn on our team.
The Pancreatic Stadium will now be our “home”, with the thousands of fans who traveled to the Olympic Stadium, giving a unique “show” to the final cup, now have the opportunity to stay next to OFI, with the best possible conditions and with a common vision of the delimitation and achievement of new targets.
As PAO OFI 1925 we would like to thank the Mayor of Heraklion, Mr. Alexis Kalinos and his associates, for his full confidence and absolute support in the plan presented to him. He was next to OFI from the first moment we discussed the idea of moving to the Pancreatic Stadium and supported it to the end.
We also want to express our gratitude to all members of the Board of Directors. Heraklion Sport Development for confidence in our team with the approval of the contract, which puts on the new track, the largest sports organization of Crete and the Greek region. “
