The Attica Regional Governor was at the OAKA coaching conference, stressing that he had a conversation with the Euroleague president, Dejan Bodirogain which he conveyed the belief that Athens is always ready to host great sports events!

On the sidelines of the event I also had an important and meaningful meeting and discussion with Euroleague President Dejan Bodiroga. I also assured him that our Attica, the region of the wider Athens area, is always ready to host major events.
We have the infrastructure, we have the know -how, we have the experience and the right people, and most of all we have the passion to be the protagonists and to welcome great events that bring the capital region of our country at the center of the world sports ideal.
And, of course, we are ready to support and work together with both the government and with every organization involved in this effort.
Because sport is not only entertainment and spectacle – it is an investment in society, our children, extroversion and promotion of our country, our country.
