As for women, the octave was completed by Iga Sviontek, who defeated American Clara Tauson 2-0 (6-4, 6-4) and qualified for the second time in her quarter-finals, where she will face Lyudmila Samsonova, 7-0, 7-5 Maneros and qualified for the first time in Gran Slam octave.
