Assistant Coach/Tactics/Analyst: Nikolaos Sourgias
Nikos Sourgias was born on May 7, 1987 and is a graduate of TEFAA Thrace (Komotini), specializing in football, and is a UEFA Pro coaching diploma.
He began his coaching career in Ergotelis’ K20 and then worked with George Petrakis on Herodotus, Hermes Zonians and AOX/Kissamos. He was the first coach of Romanos (A1 Heraklion), AOAN (2019/22) and AO Yuchta (2022/24), with whom he celebrated the rise to the Super League 2.
In the 2024/25 season he worked as an assistant coach in Chania, initially on the side of Dimitris Spanos and then by Socrates Ofridopoulos.
As a footballer he was elected by Ergotelis, with participation in the first and 2nd National, and he also competed in Ionia Chania, PA Thrace, Hope Sapon and Patouha Viannou.
Assistant Coach/Tactical Coach/Static Phase Coach: Lucas Sialis
Lucas Sialis was born on May 2, 1985 and worked with George Petrakis in Omonia, May 29, in Cyprus.
He holds the UEFA Elite Youth A diploma and since 2020 has been working in Anorthosis’s infrastructure departments, served as a coach at the Anorthosis team, he found himself with the post of analyst in Apollo Limassol, coach at APOEL K15 in the 2023/24 season 2024/25.
Assistant Coach/Analyst Analyst: George Lyronis
George Lyronis (Gen. 14/8/1967) began his football career in Astera Perama and competed for 8 years at the EAP (2nd National), before closing his career at AON Star and AO. Livadia.
He started training in 2005/06 at AON Astera, first as an associate of Anifantakis and Tsibou and then as an assistant to Yiannis Petrakis, with whom he won the National Championship and participated in the 3rd seasons for two seasons. Together with Elias Aspromatis, they took over a technical leadership in Aon Star and Per.
The term of office followed in Doxa Platanhe, A.O. Kalyvou, Episkopi (as a partner of R. Yiangianin), AO Chania (Football League), and AEM. In 2017/18 he won the Crete Championship with the Mixed Youth EPSR and in the same year he took over the diocese, which led to the title of the 1st EPP.
2018/19 was a partner and then Herodotus’ first coach in the Football League, while his last term was in Rethymnon (2020/21).
Goalkeeper coach: Vasilis Kiafas
Born on September 20, 1978, Vasilis Kliafas is in the UEFA C, UEFA B, Goalkeeper UEFA B, Goalkeeper UEFA A.
As a goalkeeper, he started at the age of 14 at the Panetolikos Academy, and became a professional at the age of 16, he still fought in Rhodes, Renaissance Arta, Storm Patras and in Paphos, Cyprus, with a total of 198 official entries in his career. He participated in the National Teams of Children, Youth and Hope. His coaching career began by Diagoras Rhodes, followed by Asteras Amaliada, and in the two years 2019/21 he was in Panetoliko with coach Makis Havo and presence in 39 matches. Tilkratis Lefkada followed, while in the 2024/25 season he was in Kalamata. He was also a goalkeeper coach at the High School in Philadelphia, USA.
Finally, along with his coaching career, he maintains his own goalkeeper school, from 2013 until today.
Physical Coach: Lazaros Vardakis
Born in Thessaloniki on September 1, 1983. UEFA A and UEFA Elite Youth holder. He has previously worked in Veria, Panetoliko, A.O. Chania, AEL, Lamia, Olympiacos Volos, Rural Star, AOX/Kissamos, Mars Thessaloniki, Olympic Nicosia, Apollo Limassol, while until recently in the United Arab Emirates at Al-Sariah Academies (Sharjah FC). He has responsibilities for fitness and performance, video -analysis of opponents, while in the past he worked as a coach in Thessaloniki amateur clubs, football academies and as a professor of physical education.
Restoration trainer: Vasilis Mitakos
Born on April 2, 1996, Vassilis Mitakos is a graduate of the TEFAA of the University of Thessaly in Trikala, was in the AEL women’s football team for the past five years, while last year he was at the AEL technical staff.
