“Throw” for Singapore the biggest part of the Greek swimming mission

The secondlyand bigger, part of mission of swimming in the world championship, entered today Friday 18/7 on the plane to Singapore.

From there they will drive to Malaysia (about an hour of route) where they will meet their Panagiotis Velentza, Apostolos Christos, Anna Dountounaki, Apostolos Papastamos who are already training in the city of Johor Barou to get acquainted with everyone with the general conditions of the area.

Will remain there until 24/7 they will go to the Singapore. Swimming will start at July 27.

The athletes who have taken the road to Singapore today are the (in brackets the competitions that will participate and the qualifying day):

Nora Drakou-30/7: 50m backstroke, 2/8: 50m free.

Artemis Vassilakis- 28/7: 1500m free, 1/8: 800m free, 3/8: 400m mixed individual.

Georgia Damasiotis- 27/7: 100m Butterfly, 30/7: 200m Butterfly.

Nikoleta Pavlopoulou- 27/7: 200m Mixed Individual, 2/8: 50m front.

Stergios-Marios Bilas- 27/7: 50m Butterfly, 1/8: 50m free.

Apostolos Siskos-29/7: 200m Butterfly, 31-7: 200m backstroke.

Dimitris Markos- 27/7: 400m free, 28/7: 200m free, 29/7: 800m free.

Daniel Gourtzidis- 3/8: 400m mixed individual.

Konstantinos Englezakis- Races.

Vangelis Makrigiannis- 28/7: 100m backstroke, 2/8: 50m backstroke.

Konstantinos Stamou- 1/8: 100m Butterfly.

Savvas Thomoglou- 27/7: 100m anterior.

The mission is accompanied by coaches Akis Economou, Stefanos Zafiriadis, George Damasiotis and physiotherapist George Demetis.

The mission is the member of the Board of Directors, a swimming officer, a representative of the JOC to the EEA, Nikos Xylouris.
