“Clean” and Austria and the National Women’s Volleyball was a solemn first

Festive first for Women’s National Volleyball. The representative band comfortably defeated Austria in Rentis for the fourth and final match of the Eurovision 2026 qualifiers and completed his obligations in the group.

Despite the absences of Kiki Terzoglou, Irene Chatzievratiadou and Anthi Vassilantonakis due to injuries, Apostolos Economou’s athletes showed determination and cohesion.

The victory was dedicated to Anthi Vassilantakis and all members of the representative band rushed to the stands with the end of the match where the international athlete was to wish her a good recovery and a speedy return to Taflex.

Nationals now will continue its training for its participation in the World Championships and, before leaving for Thailand on August 17, will play two friendly games with Slovakia (August 13 and 14).
