THE Vladimir Ilicdirect partner of Milan Rastavac In the OFI, but also to Asteras Aktor, he interviewed RTRS.

He referred, among other things, to the Cretans, the Serbian technician who was absolutely trusted, and said he now wanted to take the next step in his career and become a first coach.

In detail what he said:

For this season: “We have made excellent preparation in the Netherlands. We played very loud friendly games with opponents Alkmaar and Sparta Rotterdam. In the rehearsal we beat Bologna 4-2 and for me it is one of the biggest matches on the OFI bench. We haven’t changed the team much, the backbone of the team has remained. We have great ambitions and we do not hide it. We have a historic season behind us, we played in the playoffs and qualified for the Greek Cup final for the first time in 40 years. I hope we will win the trophy this time, that would be really great. “

For the fact that OFI relies on Greek footballers as opposed to what is happening in Greek football: “It’s a situation that is definitely not just about Greek football. When we look at the big teams, there are mainly foreign players and coaches. Our scouting department has the main task of combing the Greek market and bringing the best players from, say, smaller teams. We have a national team player, Taxiarch Founta. The leader is Vasilis Lambropoulos, who played in the Bundesliga. We have many high -level players and OFI are interested in being beautiful in Crete, the weather is good and the team is trying to play good football. I would also distinguish two young players in the national team. Striker Yiannis Theodosoulakis and defender Kostoula. Soon, they will be very high level players and national Greece. “

For his collaboration with Milan Rastavac: “I would say that Rastavac is one of the best Serbian coaches right now. It is a privilege to be a member of his coaching staff. There is also Goran Saula, a former Vojvodina footballer and compostla. As his first assistant, I have complete freedom in my work, which allows me to further progress within the club’s ambitions. Milan enjoys great appreciation and respect in Greece and I must say that he is a very sought after coach. He has vast experience, having trained a Greek team in the first division over 250 times. You can learn a lot from him, not just about football. Milan has given me so many good tips and life lessons in these three years and I will never forget it.

I have a contract with OFI until May. It is difficult to make plans in football and in the coming months some things will become clearer about my future. My desire is to find a club in Western Europe, where I would work as an assistant coach for another two or three years. After that, I would try my strength as the first coach. I learned a lot in Greece, I met people, the culture, I made many contacts. Now I would like to move on, take another step forward. I would like to point out that at the moment my plans are not related to Bosnia football. I want to complete the lessons for the UEFA Pro diploma and that is my main goal. “
