THE LeBron James is getting ready to write history as the first player to play for the 23rd season at NBA. However, the Lakers’ Media Day made it clear that he is not going to wait for his second son, Bryis, who is starting to attend the Arizona College this year.
“I don’t expect Bryce. It has its own timetable. I have my own timetable and I don’t know if they fit perfectly“, He replied smiling.
“I still have a motivation. I’m preparing my body. I am preparing my mind. I work with my body, I train to be ready for a whole season. I think as soon as I stop loving the process, then I will know for sure. Then, it will probably be the end for me“, He added.
As for the fact that his contract is over this season? “I’m not worried about the contracts at this point of my career. That doesn’t bother me at all. I am very grateful to still have a contract and I can play the game I still love in this part of my career and take advantage of it to the fullest“, He said.
Finally, he did not hide his optimism for the new season. “I am very excited about the challenges we have in front of us. We added a few new players. We have another year in our assets with our training staff since last year. We have a whole year with Luke (Doncic) and another year with the players with whom I was together. I am very excited about it. The western region is very competitive. The championship is difficult and we have to be strong in all aspects of the game, both aggressive and defensively to play basketball championships every day“, He said.
