The Greek mission to the International Taekwondo G1 Tournament in Albania was absolutely successful.
The pre -Olympic team … excelled and brought nine medals in total and at the same time Greece won the silver medal as a whole, both for men and women!
The excellent course of Greek athletes resulted in a gold medal, seven silver and a bronze.
More specifically the gold medal was won by Kostas Dimitropoulos (-58k). In the second step of the podium was won by Charalambos Foukonis (-74k), Vassilis Tholiotis (-87k), Sotiris Michopoulos (+87k), Melina Georgiou (-46k), Fani Tzeli (-57k), Stella Mareki Yiannis Papadopoulos (-80k) won a bronze medal.
It is undoubtedly a great success for the Greek mission. It is not only the multitude of successes, it is also the fact that their excellent image is filled with many hope for the future. ELOT’s coordinated design with federal coach Behzad Hondandadh seems to be fruitful! Greek champions lead and make us optimistic about the future.
