A great second half in Patras and a huge upset for PAOK!

The first big double of the season was celebrated on Saturday night (18/10) o PAOK!

Yuri Zdovts’ team produced an outstanding second half in Patras and “Dimitris Tofalos”, coming back from -14 down to take a narrow 75-73 victory over Prometheus in Game 3 of the Stoiximan GBL.

The Thessalonians held the home team to just 24 points in the second half, which saw five of their players score in double figures for their second win of the season (2-1). The leader of all was Brown with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. For Patrinos, he stood out Hammonds with 21 points and 6 rebounds, but he was also the one who missed a huge opportunity for the victory with a free three-pointer in the final.

The match:

Stormy start to the match for Prometheuswhich stars him Hammonds who scored 8 points, led 16-6 in the 4th minute. With a quick 7-0 run, o PAOK reduced to 3 (16-13), before Gray and Hammonds again increased the lead for the hosts to 24-15 of the period.

After consecutive missed attacks, Prometheus has a huge chance to take the win in the last 3 seconds, but the Hammonds missed a shot from behind 6.75m all by himself, with PAOK taking the win with the final 75-73.
