Felix Zweier: The “surgeon” of Toumba goes to Harilaou!

His latest defiant feats are that he redefined him Sidiropoulosleaving him unpunished after the orgies in Kifissia-AEK, but also something else that went unnoticed this week.

Zweier is the referee who destroyed the myth with a bang… “bring German referees because they are good and they don’t understand anything».

He is the referee who did last year perhaps the worst arbitration in Greece in years and one of the worst we have ever seen in a derby. An arbitration that shocked even the most moderate in their judgments (TV-commentators, arbitration critics, etc.) and forced even Lanois himself to confess (in his analysis) the one-sided mistakes he made!

So, Zweier was at last year’s PAOK-AEK 1-2, where:

-He didn’t give a penalty and a red card to Vietska’s out-of-phase elbow to Piero (the VAR saw it and called him to go to the monitor. And after Zweier supposedly saw it too, he insisted on his decision not to give it, showing a clear intention to alter the result to the detriment of AEK).

-Tyson controls with his hand right in front of Zweier’s eyes and as the phase progresses, PAOK scores (the goal should not necessarily have been disallowed because a significant amount of time passed and the ball changed ten possessions, but the fact that he did not give a foul to this offense in front of him confirmed his intentions).

-A brutal hit by Otto on Hadjisafi that left his shoe cleats on the Iranian’s buttock and back (everyone saw the mark live after even his shorts came down), Zweier didn’t think it was a straight red card! But the scandal here is much bigger: The German didn’t even get a yellow card, which would have been Otto’s second!

This arbitration was the definition of surgery, the absolute 100-0 (one penalty and two expulsions) and the fact that the result was not changed is perhaps the eighth miracle of humanity…

He was brought by Lanois for Aris-Panathinaikos on Sunday.

Of course, after the PAOK-AEK memory grind, Lanois brought back Zweier: He was in Panathinaikos-PAOK 3-1 in last year’s playoffs.

Under normal circumstances and if KED/EPO had even the slightest seriousness and chip, they would have told the German federation not to send him back. Instead, Zweier came again and again!

For the record, let’s say that last year the German was also in Panathinaikos-Aris 1-1 (before the famous PAOK-AEK), while the “greens” had also succeeded in Braga-Panathinaikos 2-1 for the Champions League qualifiers in the summer of 2023.
