Champions League: A “queen”, a “lady” and a match with a great memory in London

by

The 3rd “turn” of the League Phase of the Champions League continues with another 9 matches, but with Real – Juventus in Madrid being the one that gathers the lion’s share of the “pie” of the world’s interest in Wednesday night’s matches.

The truth is that in theory it could seem quite an easy task for the “meringues”, since the “Old Lady” is facing big problems and has entered a process where scenarios for the future of Tudor and his possible replacements on the bench appear every day.

In Frankfurt, Liverpool will try to put an end to the recent slump with four consecutive defeats in all competitions for the first time since 2014. In fact, they will have to “recover” after the 1-0 defeat by Galatasaray in Turkey, in the 2nd matchday of the tournament.

In fact, the “reds” canceled the press conference that was scheduled for Tuesday night, after some problem shortly before their flight, caused a late arrival in the city of the match. The “eagles”, however, do not seem to be in a situation that could cause concern and subsequent damage to the English club…

Ajax’s visit to London for the match against Chelsea evokes memories of the epic “duel” between the two at “Stamford Bridge” 2019, when the “blues” had managed to go from being beaten 3-1 by that Dutch armada, to reach the final 4-4 and chase the ultimate upset until the final!
