Contis: “The result is unfair – We lost our concentration and our minds”

THE Panathinaikos suffered defeat by a score 3-1 from Feyenoord in Rotterdam, in a match where his image in the first half showed promise, but the continuation did not have a similar development.

The technician of the “greens”, Christos Kontiscommented on the match with obvious disappointment, stressing that the score did not reflect the team’s effort:

Contis spoke of the game’s turning point, saying that Feyenoord’s first goal “lose your mind” of the group, as it did not come from an organized threat. In the second half, new mistakes led to a second goal, with Panathinaikos unable to react.

Analyzing the tactical approach, the Panathinaikos coach referred to the role of Calabria and the efforts in the counter attack:
