OR Crete once again it is at the center of European sports, hosting it CEV Beach Volleyball European Cup Final 2025which will be held by 6 to 9 November in its state-of-the-art facilities TUI Magic Life Candia Maris of Metaxa Hospitality Groupin Heraklion. This great event promises spectacular matches and a high level of competition, bringing together Europe’s top teams on the sands of Crete. At the same time, it is an important initiative that strengthens the sports tourism and highlights Crete as a destination of international prominence, with the public being able to enjoy it up close number 1 intercollegiate beach volleyball event with free entrance.
The event is under the auspices of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV.) and the Ministry of Tourism and is co-organized by the Region of Crete, the Hellenic Volleyball Federation (E.O.P.E.), the Municipality of Malevizi and the Metaxa Hospitality Group.
The participating groups
In its final phase CEV Beach Volleyball European Cup Final 2025 leading teams from twelve European countries participate, among which are France, Spain, Serbia, Netherlands, Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Ukraine, Romania and Greece.
In men, the following clubs will compete: Montpellier Beach Volleyball (France), Re Beach Club (France), ZVH Zevenhuizen (Netherlands), Aloha Beach Volleyball Club (Austria), BC Strahov (Czech Republic), Sunrise Beach Sports Academy (Ukraine), CSU Resita (Romania) and 4 Sports Club Athens (Greece).
In the women’s category, the tournament will bring together the Belgrade Beach Volleyball (Serbia), KBC Oxyklinika (Lithuania), CV Majadahonda (Spain), Re Beach Club (France), Edra Tata (Hungary), Sunrise Beach Sports Academy (Ukraine), BVC Ludus Ljubljana (Slovenia) and 4 Sports Club Athens (Greece).
The top European teams will offer four days full of action, passion and high-level beach volleyball, highlighting the dynamism and hospitality of Crete at an international level.
The Greek entries
Greece will be represented by 4 Sports Club with two teams per gender. Stavros Dallas and Vangelis Sideris and Christos Tsigaridas and Panagiotis Semitekolos will compete in the men’s category.
In the women’s category, Maria Polonyfi will compete with Zina Sotiropoulou and Anais Angelopoulou with Vivi Soulis.
The program of the organization
The CEV Beach Volley European Cup Final 2025 brings to Heraklion, Crete, exciting matches and a top European spectacle at TUI Magic Life Candia Maris. The event starts on Thursday, November 6 and her Friday November 7th with the group stage matches (Pool Play) on 3 courts, with men’s and women’s matches throughout the first two days. The Saturday, November 8 the matches are held Play Offs and the phase of Semi-finals. OR Sunday, November 9 is the last day of the event, where all eyes are on Grand Finale of men and women respectively, as also, in Small Finals with the ranking matches for third place, offering an intense sporting spectacle for the public.
