This did happen with the difference falling below one second in the last round, but the leader of the standings to bears and holds behind him Hamilton and celebrate in front of the ecstatic American public.
The pedestal was completed by Sergio Perez, while as for the rest of the drivers, the tragic race of Alpine stood out, after so much Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso, abandoned before the checkered flag.
