Facebook has announced a new look for mobile apps as they have become a “discovery engine” rather than just a social network.

It’s designed to show the most recent posts from friends, favorites, pages, and groups so that “suggested” posts don’t get cluttered.

Mark Zuckerberg describes the posting changes as follows: “One of the most requested features of Facebook is to prevent people from missing their friends’ posts.

“The app will continue to open a personalized feed on the main tab, where we recommend the content that the detection engine is most interested in.”[チャネル]Tabs allow you to customize and control your experience.
Facebook, a long-established social media giant, has come under increasing pressure in recent years from rivals like Snapchat and TikTok.
As a result, the company made several updates to its platform and introduced similar features (such as short videos) to its competitors to compete with them.
However, some users complain that as the service expands, it becomes more difficult to find many of the things that visit the site (such as seeing the latest updates from friends and family).
Facebook said the revamped home section will be the “starting point for connectivity, entertainment and discovery” for the service.
“(Home) is a place where you can not only connect with friends and family, but also discover new content through recommendations,” the company said in a blog post announcing the update.
“From home, you can also create Reels, see what connections are sharing in feeds and stories, and build communities based on new common interests.
“The Home tab is uniquely personalized through a machine learning classification system.
“This system helps you organize your content and rank it in the order you think is most valuable, taking into account thousands of signals.
“We are investing in AI to optimally deliver recommended content in this ranked experience.”
According to Facebook, the new design will be available to users around the world next week.
