Uber plans to introduce some new changes, including the ability to see how much a driver pays for a ride.

This new feature, called “prepay,” lets Uber drivers know how much they’ve paid and where they’re boarding.

You will also be able to view other boarding requests in the area and choose which board to accept.

These changes currently apply to US drivers only, but if successful, they may be rolled out to the UK.

The ride-sharing company announced Friday that it “completely rethought the way drivers travel.”

“I clearly heard that flexibility, choice and support are needed to make a controller app the best platform,” the company said in a statement.

Uber wants to give drivers flexibility and reduce the number of canceled trips. At this point, the driver may cancel the trip because he does not want to go there or realizes that it is not very beneficial for him.

According to the supplemental material, the amount shown to the driver is calculated based on “several factors, such as the base fare, estimated travel time and travel time, pickup distance, price markup, etc.” .

Uber has a turbulent history with drivers. In February 2021, they were officially treated as workers. In other words, you have rights like minimum wage and vacation pay.

Jamie Heywood, Uber’s regional general manager for Northern and Eastern Europe, described the day as a “momentary day” for British drivers.

He states: “Uber drivers receive guaranteed income, vacation pay and pensions, and maintain the flexibility they are currently evaluating.

“Uber is just one part of the larger private employment industry, so I want all other operators to improve the quality of work for these important workers, who are an integral part of our daily lives. I hope you can join us.” .
