NTUA created the new artificial plant company Prinsus

Aiming at the sustainable and sustainable development of innovative products in the context of the circular economy, Prinsus aspires to provide high-level products and services in the field of Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverages

The Rector’s Council of NTUA approved the establishment of the new IKE technoblast company under the name “PRINSUS IKE TECHNOVLASTOS” and the participation of the Foundation in the corporate composition of the company.

The company was created with the aim of exploiting automated tools and know-how produced in the framework of the research activity of the professor of the School of Chemical Engineering Magdaleni Krokida and the team of Dr Sofias Papadakis and Dros Vasilikis Economopoulos.

Aiming at the sustainable and sustainable development of innovative products in the context of the circular economy, Prinsus aspires to provide high-level products and services in the field of Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverages.

More specifically, the purpose of the company is:

– The provision of services to agri-food sector actors regarding innovative technologies, bio-functional ingredients, market trends, innovative products, certification processes, sustainability, financing tools and circular economy through automated tools.

– The development and promotion of innovative food ingredients with increased antioxidant activity, bio-functionality and controlled release when added to various food models.

– The preparation of studies aimed at evaluating the environmental footprint, the economic viability and the social impact of various processes and products.
