Since 7 pm this Wednesday (9), Twitter users have reported difficulties publishing tweets. Attempts are responded to with the message: “You have exceeded your daily limit for sending Tweets.” Another problem pointed out is the sending of DMs (direct private messages) to other users.
Around 8 pm, users began to announce the return of these features.
The failures occur on the same day that the social network announced, in Brazil, the Twitter Blue subscription package for BRL 42 per month. The service cuts ads in half, guarantees a blue verified seal and allows you to publish texts of up to 4,000 characters.
Users claim that they are able to post tweets when they select the scheduling option. Others, however, predict that it is the “end of Twitter”. The Downdetector website already registers about 1,500 complaints, with a peak at 7:04 pm.
The Tweetdeck platform, which allows you to manage multiple timelines simultaneously, also changed its layout and lost its saved settings.
The report sought out Twitter, but the platform has not been represented in Brazil since Elon Musk bought it.
The @twitterbrasil account has not been updated since October 2022. The company’s blog in Portuguese also did not report the flaws.
