The Tinder app has been shut down and disappeared from Google Play and the AppStore.
Anyone who tried to enter https://tinder.com/places/russia gets the familiar notification.
Several videos of grieving, black-clad users performing the “funeral” of the popular dating app are circulating online.

Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine in February 2022, dozens of giant Western companies have either withdrawn from Russia or suspended their operations under sanctions. Among them are the Netflix and Spotify platforms McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Starbucks and Heineken.
