Instagram and WhatsApp users report an increase in harassment from accounts that promote the Tiger Fortune gambling game, better known as the “tigrinho game” and which has become popular among influencers in recent years.

Promoter accounts usually offer bonuses to those who join through their investments and provide links that lead to other promotional pages. In general, they are easily identified because they show signs of being fake: they have usernames with lots of numbers and letters, they have no posts in the feed, they display images from the game as their profile photo, they have few or no followers and they follow thousands of people.
