Tesla’s American tycoon Elon Musk warned Ukrainians on Thursday to use his company’s Starlink satellite service “with caution”.
Musk, who is one of the richest people in the world, donated a number of Starlink satellite terminals to Ukraine to operate the satellite internet service in time of war.
He said the communication system was the “only non-Russian” that still operates in the country, and warned that the chances of it being targeted were high.
In order to have access to the Internet satellite service, it is necessary to have a Starlink terminal and in this way signals can be sent and received from any of the active Starlink satellites sent to the region of Ukraine.
Important warning: Starlink is the only non-Russian communications system still working in some parts of Ukraine, so probability of being targeted is high. Please use with caution.
