The first private spacewalk of the Polaris Dawn mission has been completed.

“The Polaris Dawn spacewalk is now complete”says Space X, among others, in its post.

As BBC News reports, everyone in the spacecraft is healthy and will soon be able to take off their suits.

Billionaire entrepreneur Jared Isaacman is the first amateur spacewalker.

“Back home we all have a lot of work to do, but from here Earth sure looks like a perfect world”he says as he takes off into space, as reported by BBC News.

Jared Isaacman – who sponsors and leads the Polaris Dawn mission that launched on Tuesday – has completed mobility tests of his suit and is now back on Dragon.

Mission Specialist Sarah Gillis followed, went into space, did the same set of suit mobility tests, and is now back on the spacecraft.

The interior of Dragon as the spacecraft continues to conduct the hatch leak test.

The team of 4 is expected to return to Earth on Saturday.
