The first robot dog in China has already been thrown into work and specifically in the customs of the country. It is used at the Pearl River Commercial Terminal in Gaoming and the Beijiao Port in Shunde, Foshan, in the Guangdong province of southern China, with the aim of Radiation detection.

Its length is 65 cm. Has five sensors and functional units to detect radiation, gases, video monitoring, temperature and humidity.

It is equipped with an audiovisual camera and is able to perform tasks such as radiation detection, installation inspections, autonomous monitoring and loading of samples to help customs officials in specialized supervision companies.

Customs employees can remotely handle the robotic dog from a safe distance to carry out dangerous detection tasks, such as radioactive inspections and safety checks in a confined area.
