For the sixth consecutive year, Christos Tarandilis is ranked among the leading scientists in the world, according to an annual study by the renowned Stanford University in the United States.

The Professor of the Athens University of Economics and Business, a former MP and Chairman of the Research and Technology Committee in Parliament, is in the 2% The most influential scientists, with a significant contribution to the areas of operational research and artificial intelligence.

This distinction is based on analysis of scientific indicators, such as the number of reports, the H-Index and the C-Score, which take into account the quality and quantity of publications, as well as the effects of scientists.

The evaluation covers 22 scientific fields and 174 subdivisions, with data relating to the whole scientific course by the end of 2024.

Mr Tarantilis’ scientific work focuses on developing algorithms and data based decisions (data based on data (Data-Driven Decision Making), with applications in Digital Transformation of Public Administrationmanagement of the supply chain and logistics, transport, defense and civil protection. Since 2023, Mr. Tarandilis has also been a partner at the Multinational EY Professional Services Company.
